The Responder1 Story
Jamie Caldwell founded Responder1 in 2011. Before Responder1 Jamie’s small business was called Lifeguard & Medical Training. Conducting business out of his home office part time, Jamie built up a small number of specialised clients. Most of these clients came via word of mouth as Jamie was not conducting any advertising.
As the enquiries grew it became apparent to Jamie that it was time to take Responder1 to the next step. In late 2015 Jamie resigned from his full time employment as a Fire & Rescue Officer in the harsh remote areas of the Pilbara region in Western Australia to concentrate on Responder1 full time.
Early 2016 has seen Responder1 go from strength to strength. Moving from the home office into a large specialised commercial premises in Swan St, Wollongong creating the Wollongong Safety Centre, Responder1 becoming a Registered Training Organisation & a growing team of highly experienced & capable Senior Consultants, Trainers, First Aid Officers, Medics, Fire & Rescue Officers & Emergency Response Officers coming onboard the Responder1 Team.
