Responder1’s Confined Small Workplace Emergencies (Fire Extinguisher) covers small workplace emergencies which may include such incidents as a small fire that can be controlled using a nearby fire extinguisher. Responder1’s Fire Extinguisher program is designed to provide participants with the required knowledge and skills to prepare for emergency situations, identify and assess the emergency, safely contain small workplace emergencies, use initial response equipment on small un-established fires and report those workplace emergencies in line with procedures.
This program includes participants demonstrating extinguisher use in a simulated workplace emergency situation and demonstration of a fire blanket on state of the art portable real live fire training props.
If training is conducted onsite at your workplace, there must be a location to safely conduct the practical fire training session. Please talk to one of the Responder1 team members for further details on this.
